So bring your family and friends and enjoy some of the best light tackle sportfishing on Florida's East Coast. When you first step aboard The Lucky Vee, a custom built 32 ft. SeaVee, which is built by one of South Florida’s premier boat builders, you will see I have left nothing to chance. You will ride in complete comfort with all the amenities that SeaVee has to offer. On board you will find rod holders galore, electric outlets for kite reels and down-riggers, extra large fish boxes and multiple live wells. The Lucky Vee powered by twin 250 Mercury Verados. The boat has a full compliment of Simrad electronics. The electronics package on this boat will feature two 10” chart plotter/GPS fishfinder units, 4kw radar, autopilot, and 2 VHF radios. GETTING LUCKY Do you enjoy the challenges of light tackle charter fishing? Landing a 50 -90 pound sailfish or a 100lb plus tarpon on 8, 10, 12 or 16 pound test line? Or is bottom fishing for bruiser grouper and mutton snapper more your style? At Lucky Fishing Charters, my fishing plans revolve around you. We can customize your fishing charter depending on what we have been catching. See our fishing report for more on that. The moon phase and tides may also effect fishing conditions. We will start off the day filling the live well with fresh live bait. (Tarpon trips, we supply live shrimp or crabs, Swordfish trips we supply the rigged baits). We offer a varied selection of charter fishing techniques depending on the season and what you want to fish for. Whether you are new to fishing and want to learn some different techniques or a seasoned angler looking to hone your skills, I will be more then happy to teach you. For your comfort we like to limit our trips to four people, although two or three people would be ideal so that I can devote my personal attention to you. We can also accommodate large groups with multiple boats. During the fall, winter and early spring, we generally drift offshore, while suspending live baits from the kite. As we watch sailfish, kingfish and many other fish species stalk and feed on the surface. Or we can free line shrimp & crabs while drifting the beachs and inlets along Miami and Miami Beach, which can lead to monster-sized tarpon. The action can be heart stopping. Going into the spring, summer and early fall, we will generally run further offshore in search of dolphin, wahoo, and tuna. Looking for birds feeding, weed lines and floating debris that almost always attracts these fish. We can also drift or anchor, Miami’s wrecks and reefs, dropping live bait in search of mutton snapper, grouper and other tackle busting fish. Swordfish fishing is big game fishing at its finest. Fishing at night while drifting live baits and rigged squid down deep for 50 - 300 lb swordfish. This fish is that bad! GOT LUCKY!!! Once you have gotten Lucky, I will be more then happy to clean and bag your catch for you at no extra charge.   We fish only the best!!! All our rods are custom built by Biscayne Rod Company and each rod is matched with either a Shakespeare or a Pflueger reel. The "LUCKY VEE" is tournament rigged and available for any tournament in Miami or Ft Lauderdale area. FULL DAY 8 Hours 7 am - 3 pm	3/4 DAY 6 Hours 7 am - 1 pm	1/2 DAY 4 Hours 7 am - 11 am or 12-noon - 4 pm
December to June is the height of the Miami Tarpon Season. We offer both 4 hour and 6 hour evening Tarpon trips.
December to June is also the height of both the Sailfish and Kingfish Seasons. Lucky Fishing Charters can customize your trip with a half day of Sailfish and Kingfish topped off with a 4 hour evening of Tarpon fishing.
Lucky Fishing Charters has both swordfish fishing charters and or a combination of afternoon of either sailfishing, kingfishing or dolphin fishing finished off with a night of swordfish fishing.
All rates are C.O.D. upon return to the dock. We require a $100 deposit when you book your trip. Looking for a corporate event, or a large group get-together, we can also put together multiple boats for day trips. Call for reservations and rates.
